PowerBait Power Honey Worms Review

Honey worms are an artificial replacement for wax worms consisting of an oil-based powerbait formula. Each worm is about an inch long and weighs 0.013 ounces or 0.37 grams. Honey worms are a good universal bait for any fish that will eat bugs or insects. The material consistency is similar to that of a very supple, soft plastic lure (rips easily).

The honey worms will naturally sink in water and do not require a jig head or split shot to get down. You can rig the honey worm any way you would normally fish dead bait or live wax worms. The bait has no action to it and relies on the profile and the PowerBait scent to get fish to bite.

They are normally sold in a pocket sized jar which is perfect for both on the go and long-term storage. One benefit over gulp products is that they really don't dry out, as long as it still holds to a hook you can fish it. The more the bait gets ripped and punctured, the more scent dispersal from the oil-based formula occurs.
