What should you bring on a guided boat trip?

You should ask your guide what you should or should not bring with you. Space is at a premium on a boat, do not overpack and bring every piece of tackle you own with you. A good guide will either provide or let you know in advance what gear you should bring.

Remember that you are paying a guide for their expertise. Be humble and follow their advice and recommendations. You may decide at the end of a trip that you didn't like your fishing guide and that is okay. If you try and force your way of fishing on a guided trip you risk squandering a great opportunity to learn something new from a great guide.
