Mister Twister 1" Lil Bit Review
The lil bit is a mini curly tail grub by Mister Twister. It is a soft plastic lure where the tail produces a wiggling action when you retrieve or jig it. It can be rigged on a hook or jig head.
Although Mister Twister doesn't market it as such, this lure is best described as micro finesse. The overall length (including the tail) comes in at one inch. The length of the body is about a half inch. The diameter of the body is 3/16 of an inch. The overall weight of the lure is 0.009 ounces or 0.25 grams. Not possible to cast this on spinning tackle without adding weight (e.g. rigged on a jig head)
If you wish it rig it nose hooked, you can use it with a variety of small hooks. If you want to use it with a jig head, you will have fewer options. A 1/32 ounce jig head will usually have a small enough sized hook, but sometimes the shank can be too long. If you can't find a jig hook with a short enough shank, check out ice or fly jig hooks.
